Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), sometimes called acupressure for emotions, is a meridian-based therapeutic tool that has been shown to decrease anxiety and other emotional distress by balancing disrupted energy in the body.
A User-Friendly Protocol
Based on the theory that the fundamental cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the energy systems, its developer, Gary Craig, has introduced a gentle, "user friendly" protocol providing gentle stimulation of acupressure points, while holding in mind distressing thoughts and emotions. With this simple procedure the body's energy system is balanced, and people experience reliable, reproducible results up to 90% of the time. This is a far higher rate of success than any previous psychological process has demonstrated.
In-the-moment Treatment
Typically, when one is thinking about the problem and performs the technique, the distress level will decrease in quantum leaps, neutralizing discomfort and unpleasant symptoms in just minutes. Since there is such rapid reduction of negative emotion, the treatment can be adapted in the moment, allowing for significant results in minutes. The results are predictable and easily replicable by anyone who knows the protocol.
